Community Pool Policy

  1. Residents using the pool are required to obtain a fob for use in entering the pool area. Fobs can be obtained with a refundable deposit from the Property Manager.  Only one fob will be issued to each Townehome or Patio Home.

  2. All persons using the pool do so at their own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty. It is the responsibility of each swimmer to vacate the pool area in the event of a storm or dangerous condition.

  3. The pool is open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM starting the week before Memorial Day through the Sunday following Labor Day.

  4. The pool is for the use of Tennyson residents. Guests are welcome in accordance with the following guidelines: All guests must be accompanied by a resident aged 14 years or older. There is a limit of four (4) unrelated guests per household at any time. Residents are responsible for the actions of their guests.

  5. All children, including resident children, under the age of 14 years must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or babysitter.

  6. Smoking is not permitted in the enclosed pool area.

  7. No glass containers are permitted in the pool area at any time. All beverages must be in paper, metal or plastic containers.

  8. No pets or animals of any kind are permitted in or around the pool, unless exempted by the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

  9. Individuals who are under the influence of alcohol are not permitted to enter or remain within the pool area.

  10. Pool furniture may not be removed from the enclosed pool area.

  11. The pool gate must be closed and latched when not in use. It must not be propped open at any time.
    Entry and exit from the pool area is exclusively through the pool gate.

  12. The pool privileges of any person climbing or jumping over the fence surrounding the pool will be suspended (the owner’s fob will be deactivated).

  13. Opening the gate for anyone other than a member of the resident’s household or his or her guest is prohibited.

  14. Running, diving and other unsafe acts are not permitted within the pool area.

  15. Proper swim attire must be worn at all times. Infants must be diapered and wearing rubber or plastic pants while in the pool. Cut-off pants are not permitted.

  16. Pool toys and flotation devices are permitted as long as they do not interfere with other swimmers or pool attendees.

  17. Excessive noise from radios and other electronic devices are not permitted.

  18. The pool cannot be reserved for private parties, except those sponsored by the Association and cannot be used by groups renting the Clubhouse.

  19. Only the Homeowners Association is permitted to use grills in the enclosed pool area.

  20. Please lower umbrellas and clean up after yourself and your guests before leaving the pool area.

  21. The pool may not be reserved for individual parties.  The pool is not accessible by a resident reserving the Clubhouse.

The pool is for the comfort and enjoyment of all of our residents.  It is the responsibility of each resident to ensure that these rules are enforced to maintain a safe pool environment.
